Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) achieved a significant milestone with the successful clearance and dispatch of its first air cargo consignment from CONCOR-CFS, Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP), Dadri, to Ethiopia via Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.

The inaugural shipment comprised pasteurized liquid egg, a perishable commodity, transported in a CONCOR-owned reefer iceBattery CBT unit. The cargo was exported by Nature Egg LLP, with Ishwar Logistics acting as the customs house agent (CHA).

The consignment’s swift handling was made possible through coordinated efforts with GMR Group, ensuring same-day arrival and customs clearance at IGI Airport.

This development highlights CONCOR’s growing role in facilitating integrated logistics solutions for perishable exports, enhancing India’s connectivity with African markets and boosting the nation’s agri-exports sector.
