CMA CGM announced a reshuffle of its MEDEX service, introducing a new relay through Alexandria and Beirut. The service will operate weekly, with coverage linking the Levant region to and from the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East areas. CMA CGM highlighted faster transit times to and from the East Mediterranean via Alexandria and Beirut, connected with SSL Mediterranean services.

The first Alexandria import call is scheduled to be operated by the vessel CMA CGM MOZART with an estimated time of arrival on November 6. The first Beirut export call was completed by CMA CGM TITUS with an estimated time of arrival on October 23.
