Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla, has taken a major leap toward future-ready logistics by issuing an order to evaluate Linear Induction Motor–based next-generation cargo movement technology. The initiative positions DPA as the first port authority in India to formally collaborate with a home-grown deep-tech startup to explore Hyperloop-inspired high-speed logistics solutions.

The order was handed over today to Mr. Aditya Khakse, Head – Business Development, TuTr Hyperloop, marking a pivotal moment for India’s emerging advanced transportation ecosystem.

DPA said the move reflects its commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and indigenous capability development. The project aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047, paving the way for cutting-edge logistics infrastructure across the country.

With this collaboration, DPA Kandla aims to lead the transformation of India’s logistics landscape, as the TuTr Hyperloop team prepares to demonstrate the pioneering technology in the coming months.
