Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) has announced routing adjustments to its GS2 service, alongside an operational update for Middle East trade lanes, in response to ongoing regional disruptions and shifting market conditions.

The carrier said the GS2 service deviation is aimed at maintaining schedule integrity and minimizing delays caused by congestion, security concerns, and evolving port conditions in the region. Revised port rotations and transit schedules have been implemented to ensure continuity of service.

Yang Ming noted that the changes may impact transit times and vessel arrival windows, and customers are advised to closely monitor shipment schedules and plan accordingly. The company emphasized that operational flexibility remains key to navigating the current environment.

The Middle East has seen increased volatility in recent months, affecting shipping routes and port operations. In response, Yang Ming is optimizing vessel deployment and adjusting network configurations to maintain service reliability.

The carrier added that it will continue to assess the situation and provide timely updates, while working to mitigate disruption impacts and ensure stable cargo movement across its global network.
