The Port of Barcelona has launched its new 2026–2030 strategic plan, outlining a roadmap centered on sustainable growth, digital transformation, and stronger logistics competitiveness. The strategy is designed to reinforce the port’s position as a leading Mediterranean trade gateway while addressing evolving supply chain demands.
Key priorities of the plan include expanding infrastructure capacity, accelerating decarbonization initiatives, and enhancing intermodal transport links with inland markets. The port also aims to advance smart port technologies, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen collaboration with shipping lines, logistics providers, and industrial stakeholders.
