N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to integrate all major industrial parks and economic regions in Andhra Pradesh with robust logistics networks, as part of a broader push to enhance the State’s manufacturing competitiveness.
At a review meeting in Amaravati on Monday, the Chief Minister assessed progress on Product Perfection Clusters in the Visakhapatnam, Amaravati and Tirupati economic regions. Discussions also focused on developing industrial and chemical parks under the Centre’s BHAVYA (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana) scheme.
Naidu called for detailed plans to establish a Rare Earth Mineral Park by 2026–27, advance the East Coast Industrial Corridor, set up a container manufacturing cluster, and develop around 175 MSME parks across the State.
Emphasising efficiency, he said logistics integration must go hand-in-hand with product perfection, backed by essential infrastructure such as water supply, power, cold storage and warehousing.
The Chief Minister stressed that achieving global quality standards is critical for local products to access regional, national and international markets, urging officials to support MSMEs in meeting international benchmarks.
He also directed that Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) be established within industrial clusters to ensure greater participation and benefits for the farming community, according to an official release.
