Achilles, a global provider of supply chain risk and performance management solutions, has signed an agreement to acquire Australian contractor management software company Cm3 from the Blackwoods Group, part of Wesfarmers’ Bunnings division.

The acquisition marks another step in Achilles’ international expansion strategy following acquisitions in Spain, the United States and Argentina during 2024 and 2025. The addition of Cm3 is expected to strengthen the company’s capabilities in contractor compliance, supplier assurance and continuous supply chain intelligence.

Cm3 is a leading provider of contractor management software and assessment services in Australia, helping organisations manage contractor compliance, workforce safety and operational risk across industries including utilities, manufacturing, finance, property and facilities management, healthcare and education.

The combined business will integrate Cm3’s expertise in contractor compliance, workforce safety and site access management with Achilles’ broader capabilities in supplier assurance, financial resilience, cyber risk, insurance, sanctions screening and operational risk intelligence.

According to Achilles, the acquisition will enhance its presence in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region while enabling customers to move from periodic compliance checks to continuous monitoring of supplier and contractor risks. The integrated platform aims to provide organisations with greater visibility across their supply chains, improve operational resilience and support safer, more sustainable operations.

The combined company also plans to accelerate investments in technology, data and expert-led services to simplify compliance and address the increasing complexity of global supply chain and contractor workforce management.

Achilles’ growth strategy is backed by Bridgepoint, its majority shareholder since 2021, which has supported the company’s expansion through investments in data, risk management and technology businesses.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in the coming months, subject to regulatory approvals. Both companies said they will work to ensure a seamless transition for customers and partners without disrupting existing services.
