Cosco Shipping Car Carrier has launched three new international routes from Xiaomo Port in Shenzhen, connecting South China directly with the Arabian Gulf, Australia, and Europe.

The initiative, jointly rolled out by Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers and Xiaomo Port, is designed to create a global export gateway for automotive manufacturers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and South China.

The company, which operates over 25 specialized car carriers—80% of them 7,000–8,600 CEU LNG dual-fuel vessels—has built one of the greenest fleets in the global automotive shipping sector. “It is projected that by 2026, the fleet size will expand to 30 vessels,” said Du Xiaotian, Deputy General Manager of Cosco Shipping Car Carrier.

Currently, Cosco Shipping Car Carrier operates seven international shipping routes connecting China to the Arabian Gulf, Europe, Southeast Africa, West South America, the Mediterranean, Australia-New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. With the addition of the new services, Xiaomo Port strengthens its role as a strategic hub for China’s automotive exports.
