Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI) marked a major milestone during India Maritime Week 2025, signing multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading ports and maritime stakeholders to advance India’s port and coastal infrastructure.

A highlight of the event was the signing of an MoU with the Mumbai Port Authority for dredging works valued at ₹450 crore for Maintenance Dredging and ₹60 crore for Capital Dredging.

The MoUs were exchanged in the august presence of Dr. M. Angamuthu, IAS, Chairman, Dredging Corporation of India Limited and Chairperson, Visakhapatnam Port Authority & Mumbai Port Authority, alongside Capt. S. Divakar, Managing Director & CEO, DCIL, and other senior dignitaries.

These strategic partnerships underscore DCI’s pivotal role in maintaining navigational safety, deepening port drafts, and enhancing operational capacity across India’s key maritime gateways. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and timely execution, DCI continues to reinforce its leadership in the dredging and maritime infrastructure domain, contributing significantly to the nation’s Blue Economy and port modernization goals.
