Tunisian cargo airline Express Air Cargo has announced it is planning to diversify its business model by also offering passenger services. In a statement on its Facebook-page, the airline said it will therefore rebrand into Express Airline. No further details about routes or planes have been provided so far.

Express Air Cargo was established in 2017 and has a fleet of three Boeing B737s. All are, however, currently grounded/parked:

    • B737-330QC TS-ICA (23836) has been parked at Vilnius since February 2023
    • B737-3G7SF TS-ICB (24710) has been parked at Tunis since July 2024
    • B737-8Q8QSF TS-ICD (30704) is in maintenance at Bucharest-Otopeni since 23 March 2025

It’s said that both Boeing B737-300s are parked due to a disagreement with their lessors due to late payment of the lease-fees. So let’s see how their new plans will unfold over the coming period.
