HMM has restructured its Intra Cross Network, splitting it into two dedicated regional service loops to improve operational efficiency and service reliability.

The move is aimed at better aligning vessel deployment with regional demand patterns, reducing transit times and offering more stable schedules for customers operating within intra-regional trade lanes. By creating two focused loops, HMM expects to enhance connectivity and provide more consistent port coverage across key markets.

The revised network will support a wide range of cargo, including industrial goods, consumer products and time-sensitive shipments, while also improving feeder and transhipment links with HMM’s mainline services.

HMM said the changes form part of its broader strategy to optimise its service network amid evolving trade flows and to strengthen its position in regional container markets.
