Trans Global Projects (TGP) has launched a dedicated airfreight department in Bremen, expanding its capabilities for time-critical and complex cargo. The new department operates under its own IATA licence, allowing TGP full control over airfreight operations and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Tobias Teichmann has joined TGP as Head of Airfreight Germany. He brings more than a decade of experience in managing complex airfreight operations, having previously worked as Airfreight Manager at Alexander Global Logistics and spent nearly ten years at Kopf & Lübben, specialising in charter solutions and engineered transport. Teichmann is a Certified Transport Specialist from DAV, a leading German academy for international trade and transport.

The Bremen team complements TGP’s existing airfreight expertise, including Natco’s operations in Rümlang, Switzerland, and specialised capabilities in Brazil. These locations have long supported urgent and oversized cargo movements, offering tailored charter solutions and engineering-driven planning for complex shipments.

In October 2025, TGP was named Airfreight Solution of the Year by Heavy Lift and Project Forwarding Magazine (HLPFI) for delivering a 6-ton slewing ring from Germany to China in record time. The project involved custom engineering and innovative load planning to fit the cargo into a Boeing 777F, saving over 30 days compared with ocean transport. Bremen’s operations will follow the same precision-driven approach.

Tobias Teichmann said: “The department in Bremen gives our clients direct access to specialised airfreight solutions with full IATA accreditation. It’s about speed, safety, and flexibility—delivered by a team that understands the complexity of project cargo.”

Andreas Menzel, Managing Director Germany and Benelux, added: “This investment reflects our commitment to Northern Europe. Bremen will serve as a hub for urgent shipments and engineered solutions, supported by Natco’s airfreight and air charter expertise and our global resources.”

Colin Charnock, Group CEO of Trans Global Projects, said: “Airfreight is a critical part of our strategy. By combining technical know-how with operational agility, we ensure clients receive reliable uplift and clear communication from booking to delivery.”

With the Bremen department now fully operational and IATA licensed under number 23475620000, TGP aims to provide reliable and efficient airfreight services across Europe and beyond. The move builds on experience gained through charter operations in Switzerland and established capabilities in Brazil, continuing TGP’s focus on expert and tailored airfreight solutions.
