    Pilbara Ports has achieved a total monthly throughput of 67 million tonnes (Mt) in November 2024.

    This is a 9 per cent increase above the overall monthly throughput in November 2023.

    The Port of Port Hedland had a monthly throughput of 49.3 Mt, with iron ore exports totaling 48.8 Mt. This is an eight per cent increase above the overall monthly throughput in November 2023.

    Imports through the Port of Port Hedland totaled 168,216 tonnes, representing a 9 per cent decline from November 2023.

    The Port of Dampier had a total throughput of 15.2 Mt, a 3 per cent increase over November 2023.

    Imports through the Port of Dampier were 144,939 tonnes, a 6 per cent increase from November 2023.

    According to Pilbara Ports, various variables impact throughput volatility, including changes in market circumstances, port maintenance operations, and proponent requirements.

    In September, Pilbara Ports achieved a total monthly throughput of 66.3 Mt.
