Unifeeder has announced the launch of the India Med Service (IMD), expanding its network into Northern Egypt and Türkiye.

“This strategic addition strengthens our ISC services by enhancing connectivity between India and the Mediterranean region,” Unifeeder said in a statement.

IMD offers a service every 10 days, handling both dry and reefer cargo, with direct connections to key ports in India, Egypt, and Türkiye. The service commenced eastbound in week 27, on 5 July and will operate on a 42-day rotation.

    The service is as follows:

    Istanbul (Kumport) – Istanbul (Marport) – Izmit (Evyap) – Izmir (Aliaga) – Mersin – Port Said E – Aqaba – Jeddah – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Jeddah – Aqaba – Port Said E – Alexandria – Istanbul (Kumport)

This time last year, Unifeeder A/S and MPC Container Ships ASA announced a new strategic partnership to make collaborative investments in Energy Efficiency Technology.
