The Board of Directors of the Dredging Corporation of India Ltd. has approved the appointment of Capt. S. Divakar, CGM, as Managing Director & CEO (Additional Charge), Additional Director, and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the Company, with effect from 16.10.2025, till a regular incumbent joins the post of Managing Director & CEO, or for a period of six months, or until further orders.
This has been informed that the tenure of Shri Durgesh Kumar Dubey, IRTS, as Managing Director & CEO (Additional Charge) of the Company is completing on 15.10.2025.
Capt. S. Divakar, Chief General Manager, who has taken the additional charge of Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the company, started his career in DCI as a cadet in the year 1987 and served onboard dredgers in different capacities for about 22 years, from cadet to captain, and rose to the position of “Master of Dredger.”
On gaining rich knowledge and experience on complete operations of different types of dredgers, he joined inshore service and served for about 12 years in senior management level, having worked for 34 years both onboard dredgers and onshore in responsible positions, gaining unique expertise of both operations as well as techno-commercial aspects of business acumen.
