Adani Enterprises, through its joint venture AdaniConneX, and Google have announced a partnership to develop India’s largest AI data centre campus and green energy infrastructure in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
The initiative involves a multi-faceted investment of approximately $15 billion over five years (2026–2030), including gigawatt-scale data centre operations, a subsea cable network, and clean energy infrastructure to support AI workloads.
The project will be developed in collaboration with partners including AdaniConneX and Airtel.
Key elements of the partnership include purpose-built AI data centre facilities in Visakhapatnam designed to significantly expand India’s computing capacity.
The project also involves joint investment in new transmission lines, renewable energy generation, and energy storage systems in Andhra Pradesh, aimed at supporting data centre operations and strengthening the national power grid.
