Synergy Ship Arabia, the Dammam-registered offshore arm of Synergy Marine Group, has assumed full technical management of five self-propelled jack-up barges owned by Jana Marine, along with multiple offshore support vessels engaged in ARAMCO projects. The move significantly expands Synergy’s footprint in Saudi Arabia’s offshore sector and reinforces its alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 ambitions.

The barges — Jana 505, 506, 507, 508 and 509 — play a critical role in supporting ARAMCO’s offshore operations. With this development, Synergy consolidates its position as a comprehensive offshore solutions provider across the GCC region.

Operating in one of the most demanding marine environments, jack-up barges require exceptional standards of safety, efficiency and long-term asset readiness. Synergy brings to the table its global expertise from managing more than 700 vessels worldwide. This includes disciplined operational systems, digital integration, predictive maintenance practices and a strong focus on future-ready retrofits, fuel options and energy efficiency.

The company’s approach ensures the Jana fleet operates at optimal levels while maintaining sustainability at the core of offshore activities.

In addition to operational enhancements, the milestone reflects a broader commitment to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030—particularly in strengthening national workforce participation, developing local supply chain competencies and driving technological innovation. Through the partnership with Jana Marine, Synergy Ship Arabia is contributing to offshore infrastructure that is both robust today and resilient for the future.
