HMM has announced an update to its East-West service network, encompassing the principal trade routes of Asia-Europe, Asia-North America, and Asia-Middle East.

The enhanced network will be launched in April 2026.

This updated network aims to deliver improved service reliability by means of an optimised global structure.

The refined network is designed to strengthen overall operational stability whilst preserving the company’s broad international reach.

The port rotations for the 2026 services will continue to follow the established route around the Cape of Good Hope.

“HMM is maintaining vigilant oversight of the evolving situation in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and Suez Canal, and will ensure timely communication and support to customers should adjustments to the East-West services become necessary,” HMM said in a statement.

Last month, HMM partnered with B-International Shipping and Logistics, part of the BGN group, to form a joint venture, HMMB INT Shipping Pte. Ltd, in Singapore, aiming to expand its Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) transportation operations.
