Ocean Network Express (ONE) has marked a significant milestone with the successful maiden call of its container vessel M/V ONE SWAN (nominal capacity 14,026 TEUs) at CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal, Khalifa Port, on 9 December, while en route on the Gulf Pacific South 2 (GS2) Service.
The occasion was commemorated with a plaque exchange ceremony onboard the vessel, highlighting the strong collaboration between ONE and its partners. CSP Abu Dhabi Terminals hosted the event, with ONE acknowledging the terminal’s leadership for its efficient organization and advanced automation, including the consistent operational performance of autonomous Q-trucks and Intelligent Guided Vehicles (IGVs).
ONE also expressed appreciation to Kanoo Shipping, the appointed agency partner, for its seamless coordination and smooth handling of port operations from arrival through departure.
The GS2 service plays a strategic role in ONE’s global network, providing direct eastbound connectivity from the Middle East to the US West Coast, and westbound links from the US West Coast to North China and Southeast Asia, before returning to the Middle East. The maiden call of ONE SWAN further strengthens Khalifa Port’s position as a key regional hub in global container trade.
ONE said it looks forward to many more successful calls at CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal, reinforcing long-term cooperation and reliable service for customers across these vital trade lanes.
