Paradip Port marked a significant operational milestone on December 25–26, 2025, as MV CARDINAL VICTORY successfully handled the highest-ever import parcel at the KICT Berth operated by Kalinga International Coal Terminal Paradip Port Private Limited (KICTPPL).
The vessel discharged a total of 1,56,400 metric tonnes of cargo, comprising coking coal and PCI coal on account of Tata Steel Limited (TSL) and Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL). The cargo included 46,000 MT of coking coal for TSL, 20,000 MT of coking coal for NINL, and 90,400 MT of PCI coal for TSL, all completed as a full discharge operation.
This record-setting operation underscores the robust infrastructure, efficient handling capabilities, and coordinated operations at Paradip Port. The achievement further reinforces KICTPPL’s role as a key terminal for bulk cargo handling and highlights Paradip Port’s growing capacity to accommodate large parcel vessels with operational efficiency.
