Singapore-based carrier Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced enhancements to its SX2 and RPX service networks, aimed at improving schedule reliability and strengthening connectivity across key trade lanes.

The updates include adjustments to port rotations, transit times and vessel deployment to better align with evolving cargo demand and operational requirements. ONE said the changes are designed to optimise network efficiency while offering customers more competitive and reliable shipping options.

The SX2 service, which connects major ports across Asia and other strategic markets, will see refinements intended to improve frequency and streamline connections. Meanwhile, the RPX service is being recalibrated to enhance coverage and reduce transit times on selected routes.

The carrier noted that the service upgrades form part of its broader strategy to enhance network resilience amid shifting global trade patterns and supply chain realignments. By fine-tuning its service strings, ONE aims to strengthen its position in core markets while maintaining operational flexibility.

Customers have been advised to review updated sailing schedules and coordinate with local representatives to ensure smooth cargo planning during the transition period.

Industry observers say such network adjustments reflect ongoing efforts by global shipping lines to balance capacity, manage costs and maintain service reliability in a dynamic market environment.
