IRClass Academy and Charismight Consultancy Private Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership focused on advancing next-generation maritime training and professional development.
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening industry-focused, state-of-the-art training programmes with a special emphasis on emerging alternative marine fuels and the psychological well-being of both seafarers and shore-based professionals. The initiative also covers broader areas of mutual cooperation to support the evolving needs of the global maritime sector.
A key highlight of the partnership is the development of comprehensive training programmes addressing the complete lifecycle of alternative fuel adoption in shipping. This includes ship design and construction, bunkering, fuel handling, vessel operations, and safety protocols. The programmes are intended to enhance technical awareness and operational preparedness as the maritime industry transitions toward sustainable energy solutions.
The two organisations stated that the initiative is designed to contribute to building future-ready capabilities within the sector by combining technical competence with human resilience. The collaboration also places strong emphasis on promoting innovation, improving safety practices, and supporting sustainability in maritime operations.
Through this MoU, both IRClass Academy and Charismight Consultancy Private Limited aim to jointly develop impactful training interventions that align with the maritime industry’s shift toward cleaner fuels and improved workforce well-being.
