SolitAir has expanded its international air cargo network with the launch of scheduled freighter services between Dubai and Tianjin, strengthening trade connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and northern China. The new route is expected to support growing demand for time-sensitive freight and enhance supply chain links across Asia and the Middle East.
The Dubai–Tianjin service will provide dedicated cargo capacity for a wide range of shipments, including e-commerce goods, electronics, automotive components, pharmaceuticals, industrial equipment, and other high-value products. By offering direct connectivity between the two logistics hubs, SolitAir aims to reduce transit times and improve service reliability for exporters and importers.
Tianjin is one of northern China’s major industrial and logistics centres, serving manufacturers across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic region. Its strong multimodal transport infrastructure and access to international markets make it an important gateway for air cargo operations. The new service complements Dubai’s role as a global logistics hub connecting Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The route is expected to facilitate faster movement of cargo between Chinese manufacturing centres and customers across the Gulf region while also supporting outbound exports from the UAE. Businesses engaged in cross-border trade are likely to benefit from increased freight capacity, improved scheduling flexibility, and enhanced supply chain resilience.
The launch forms part of SolitAir’s broader strategy to expand its regional and international network in response to rising demand for dedicated freighter services. The carrier has been strengthening its presence across key trade corridors by adding new destinations and increasing operational capacity to serve the fast-growing e-commerce and express logistics markets.
Industry analysts believe the Dubai–Tianjin connection will further reinforce trade flows between China and the Middle East while providing customers with additional cargo options amid evolving global supply chain requirements. The service also supports Dubai’s ambition to strengthen its position as a leading global air cargo and logistics hub.
