CMA CGM has announced a new RRI service linking international markets with the US East Coast, expanding its network and providing additional shipping options for customers.

The new service is designed to strengthen CMA CGM’s coverage of the US East Coast and improve connectivity for containerised cargo moving through key regional gateways.

The RRI service is expected to support trade flows by providing more routing options and helping shippers manage cargo movements across major international markets. Enhanced network coverage could also benefit exporters and importers seeking reliable transit solutions to and from the US East Coast.

The US East Coast remains an important container shipping market, supported by strong demand for consumer goods, industrial products and other cargo. Ports in the region also play a growing role in global supply chains as shipping lines adjust networks to changing trade patterns and operational requirements.

CMA CGM’s latest service expansion forms part of its broader effort to strengthen its global network and provide customers with additional capacity and port connectivity.

The new RRI service is expected to give shippers greater flexibility while supporting the movement of cargo between key international trade lanes and the US East Coast.
