Qatar Airways Cargo has joined Pelicargo’s digital air freight procurement and booking platform, giving freight forwarders direct access to the airline’s global cargo capacity and network.

Announced on October 21, 2026, the partnership is aimed at simplifying air freight procurement, improving booking efficiency and strengthening connectivity across major international trade lanes. Through Pelicargo, freight forwarders can access Qatar Airways Cargo’s capacity and manage shipment bookings through a centralised digital platform.

The integration is expected to benefit freight forwarders, particularly those based in the United States, by making it easier to obtain quotes, compare transportation options and secure cargo space for international shipments. The platform connects US-origin cargo with destinations worldwide, combining air freight services with first-mile trucking options.

Pelicargo co-founder Sean Angata said the partnership would improve speed, visibility and flexibility for freight forwarders arranging shipments across multiple regions.

The collaboration also strengthens Pelicargo’s presence across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Africa by adding another major international carrier to its network.

For Qatar Airways Cargo, the agreement provides an additional digital channel to reach freight forwarders and make its global capacity more accessible. For customers, the integration is expected to streamline the process from pricing and capacity selection to confirmed bookings.

The partnership reflects the wider air cargo industry’s shift towards digital booking platforms as logistics providers seek faster transactions, improved shipment visibility and more efficient access to international air freight capacity.
