AD Ports Group and the Port of Riga have begun discussions to explore potential cooperation opportunities aimed at strengthening maritime connectivity and logistics operations in the Baltic region.

The talks focused on possible collaboration in port development, cargo handling, trade facilitation and supply chain integration as both sides seek to expand international shipping and logistics partnerships.

Officials said the engagement could support greater connectivity between the Baltic region, the Middle East and broader global trade corridors through enhanced port and multimodal logistics cooperation.

The discussions also covered opportunities in digitalisation, infrastructure investment and sustainable port operations as ports worldwide increasingly modernise facilities to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

The move reflects AD Ports Group’s broader strategy of expanding its international footprint through strategic partnerships and investments across key global maritime and logistics markets.
