    Ashdod Port Company has delivered a powerful performance in the first half of 2025, turning around from a net loss of NIS 27 million ($7.6 million) in H1 2024 to a net profit of NIS 104 million ($27.7 million).

    Revenue rose by 29 per cent, from NIS 461 million ($125 million) to NIS 593 million  ($158 million).

    The Board has declared a dividend of NIS 300 million ($80 million) to the State of Israel, bringing total dividends over the past decade to approximately NIS 1.3 billion ($346 million ).

    In the second quarter alone, revenue climbed to NIS 291 million ($77.6 million), up from NIS 247 million ($66 million) in Q2 2024.

    The port swung back to net profit, posting NIS 84 million ($22.4 million) compared with a NIS 20 million loss ($5.3 million) a year earlier.

    Adjusted EBITDA surged to NIS 69 million ($18.4 million), while operating profit reached NIS 33 million ($8.8 million), reversing the previous year’s operating loss of NIS 22 million  ($5.9 million).

    The port also recorded net financing income of NIS 61 million ($16.3 million), driven by a rebound in capital markets following operation “Iron Swords” (Am KeLavi).

    Shareholders’ equity rose to NIS 2.86 billion ($764 million) by 30 June 2025, up from NIS 2.57 billion ($687 million) a year earlier.

    Despite ongoing geopolitical tensions, Ashdod Port maintained uninterrupted operations during the conflict.

    Shaul Schneider, Chairman of the Board, Ashdod Port Company, stated: “The financial results for Q2 and H1 reflect the resilience of Ashdod Port and its importance to the economy during emergencies. The port succeeded in generating positive cash flow every quarter, despite the impact of Operation Iron Swords (Am KeLavi) on the economy.

    “Our strategy of diversifying revenues, providing optimal service to all cargoes, and reducing operational waiting times is proving itself in the operating profit line as well.”

    In June, Ashdod Port Company Ltd. reported a strong financial recovery in Q1 2025, with revenue reaching NIS 302 million ($84 million), a 40 per cent increase from NIS 214 million ($60 million) in Q1 2024.
