Port operations at Mongla Port in Bangladesh began after cyclone Dana. The cyclonic storm caused severe rain, which caused seven ships’ cargo handling to be hampered. However, the process of emptying those ships is currently underway.

Operations at Mongla Port are now returning to normal after a spell of bad weather caused by Cyclone Dana.

The hazards over the coastal region of the Sundarbans have temporarily decreased since Cyclone Dana hit Odisha, India.

The people of Mongla, which is close to the coast of the Sundarbans, exhaled in relief since they were no longer afraid.

There has been no wind or rain and clear skies above Mongla Port and the nearby coastline. Nonetheless, local cautious signal number three is still in effect at the Mongla harbor.

The meteorological office, meanwhile, warned that the weather could change throughout the day and that rain might fall over the Mongla coast for another day or two.
