    The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) warmly welcomed Shri Anup Acharya, National President of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, India (IACC, Mumbai), during his visit to Cochin on Wednesday.

    Shri Acharya addressed key aspects of economic growth, focusing on Indo-US economic cooperation, innovation-driven development, and enhanced support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The interaction provided a platform to explore initiatives aimed at strengthening the MSME sector and fostering collaboration between the Cochin Chamber and IACC.

    Vinodini Sukumar, President of CCCI, highlighted the significance of synergy between industry stakeholders in addressing sectoral challenges. Shri Joseph Thomas, Chairman of IACC Kerala Chapter, emphasized the contributions of Tourism and IT to Kerala’s economy, while Shri Bibu Punnooran, Vice President of CCCI, underlined the pivotal role of MSMEs in promoting inclusive growth.

    The event was also attended by Shri Prakash Iyer and Shri Muralidharan Thoykkat, Executive Committee Members of CCCI, and Dr. Prakash Chandran from the Southern Indian Council of IACC, who actively participated in discussions on strengthening bilateral business relations.

    The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of both Chambers to promoting innovation, MSME development, and closer Indo-US economic ties.
