Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has handed over a profit share of ₹5.94 crore for the financial year 2024–25 from the CSL–Kolkata Ship Repair Unit (CKSRU) to Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMPK).
The profit share was formally presented by Shri Madhu S. Nair, Chairman and Managing Director, CSL, to Shri Rathendra Raman, IRTS, Chairperson, SMPK, during a ceremony held in Kochi.
CKSRU is a joint initiative of CSL and SMPK and stands as a strong example of effective collaboration between two entities under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The initiative plays a key role in strengthening ship repair capabilities along India’s eastern coast, in line with the Maritime India Vision 2030 (MIV 2030).
