With key agreements and thought leadership on green shipping, cybersecurity, and digitalisation, the event showcased how the company aims to support India’s transformation into a future-ready maritime leader.

    Building maritime partnerships

DNV Group President and CEO Remi Eriksen participated in a high-level roundtable with India’s Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, to discuss cooperation aligned with the Maritime India Vision and Make in India programme.

    Driving innovation through collaboration

The company also signed a broad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) covering shipbuilding, smart industrial systems, ESG services, and digital platforms. Witnessing the signing, Minister Sonowal called it “a major step in India’s maritime transformation.”
