Paradip Port continues to reinforce its position as a leading hub of operational excellence, with a landmark achievement recorded in December 2025 at the Kalinga International Coal Terminal, operated by Kalinga International Coal Terminal Paradip Port Private Limited (KICTPPL).
During the month, KICTPPL achieved its highest-ever monthly coal discharge of 1,106,928 metric tonnes, while dispatches touched 1,042,360 metric tonnes through 281 rakes, marking a significant milestone in port-led logistics efficiency.
The record performance underscores strong coordination between terminal operations, rail logistics and port infrastructure, reflecting the collective efforts of all stakeholders in ensuring seamless, high-volume cargo movement at Paradip Port.
The Bothra Group, a key stakeholder in the terminal’s operations, played an important role in this milestone achievement. The group acknowledged that KICT’s record-breaking performance highlights the strength of integrated operations, robust infrastructure and the dedication of on-ground teams working in close collaboration with port authorities and logistics partners.
Expressing appreciation, stakeholders extended sincere thanks to the Paradip Port Authority and all associated partners for their continued support and cooperation in advancing efficient and reliable port-led trade. With sustained focus on productivity and coordination, Paradip Port and its terminal operators remain committed to setting new benchmarks in operational excellence and strengthening India’s maritime and logistics ecosystem.
