QuikJet Cargo Airlines has achieved a significant milestone with the successful operation of its first flight into Dubai World Central (DWC) on 1 February, officially adding the airport as its newest international destination.
The inaugural routing—Bengaluru (BLR)–Dubai World Central (DWC)–Chennai (MAA)–DWC–BLR—demonstrates the airline’s growing capability to undertake international cargo operations backed by detailed planning, operational discipline, and strong cross-functional coordination.
Dubai World Central is a key regional cargo hub, offering extensive global connectivity and a highly efficient logistics ecosystem. Its inclusion in QuikJet’s network enhances access for Indian exporters and logistics partners to the Middle East and onward international markets.
With this launch, QuikJet strengthens its commitment to developing sustainable cargo corridors connecting Bengaluru and Chennai with Dubai, supporting reliable and efficient international freight movement.
The airline emphasized its continued focus on consistent operating standards, on-time performance, regulatory compliance, security protocols aligned with international requirements, and close collaboration with airport authorities and ground-handling partners.
The successful first operation into DWC was enabled by coordinated efforts across Flight Operations, Engineering, Ground Operations, Security, the Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOCC), and on-ground partners. QuikJet stated that it plans to further develop the DWC route as part of its broader international expansion strategy.
