A.P. Moller-Maersk (Maersk) and Hapag-Lloyd have launched a new Transpacific service, TP9, under the Gemini Cooperation.

According to Maersk, this service offers a direct connection from East China and North East Asia to Long Beach, connecting Busan and Long Beach with a transit time of 14 days, and a competitive direct Xiamen product into Long Beach in 18 days.

The new service expands the existing Transpacific portfolio and is expected to enhance supply chain resilience for customers by offering greater flexibility and improved reliability.

The rotation on this service will be as follows: Xiamen – Busan – Long Beach – Xiamen.

Recently, the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) welcomed the Seaspan Montevideo, one of the first vessels to arrive under the new Gemini Cooperation.
