PSA Mumbai has achieved full integration with India’s Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), unlocking faster, greener, and more efficient cargo movement between the hinterland and Nhava Sheva port.

As the only terminal at Nhava Sheva equipped with six DFC-ready rail tracks capable of handling 360 TEU double-stack trains, PSA Mumbai is uniquely positioned to support high-capacity, rail-led logistics. The terminal’s unmatched double-stack capability and seamless connectivity to over 63 Inland Container Depots (ICDs) significantly reduce transit times and logistics costs.

This milestone strengthens multimodal supply chains and reinforces PSA Mumbai’s role in powering India’s trade with future-ready, sustainable infrastructure aligned with the nation’s logistics and decarbonisation goals.
