New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) today welcomed the luxury cruise vessel Seven Seas Mariner, marking another significant milestone in the promotion of cruise tourism along India’s western coastline.
The Bahamas-flagged ship arrived from Cochin and berthed at Berth No. 4, carrying 607 passengers and 460 crew members. The port call is part of the vessel’s onward journey to Mormugao.
NMPA, in coordination with Customs, Immigration, CISF, and other stakeholders, ensured seamless handling of the vessel and its passengers. Tourists were offered well-curated shore excursions to nearby destinations, including Karkala, Moodbidri, Pilikula, and key attractions across Mangaluru.
The successful call highlights NMPA’s growing stature as a preferred port of call for international cruise liners and reflects its continued focus on enhancing passenger experience through efficient, world-class port services.
