Asean Seas Line (ASL) and CU Lines have jointly expanded their intra‑Asia network with the introduction of two new container shipping services linking China with Southeast Asia and the Philippines, strengthening regional connectivity and trade flows.

    Under the new schedule:

    • The China–Thailand service (branded NSX/BTX2) is deployed with two vessels of around 1,800 TEU, connecting the Pearl River Delta ports — including Guangzhou (Nansha) and Shenzhen (Shekou) — with Laem Chabang and Bangkok, before returning to Guangzhou.

    • The China–Philippines service (coded NP2/NPX2) also operates with two around 1800 TEU vessels, linking Qingdao, Shanghai, and Xiamen in China with Manila, before sailing back to Qingdao.

These additions aim to boost direct shipping options between key Chinese manufacturing hubs and major Southeast Asian markets, addressing growing demand for efficient regional transport solutions amid expanding intra‑Asian trade.

Shippers and logistics partners are advised to reach out to ASL and CU Lines representatives for details on schedules, capacity and booking availability on the newly launched services.
