CMA CGM has announced a series of service adjustments and new deployments across multiple trade lanes as part of its ongoing network optimization strategy, refining its port coverage in key regions including the Americas, Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean.
Under the network changes:
• Mexico Express & West Coast South America: CMA CGM has updated the M2X service, adding Ensenada to the rotation while redistributing calls from Buenaventura and Posorja to other services. The ACSA1 service has been realigned to maintain coverage in West Coast South America.
• Northern Europe: The Sweden Express (SXW2) service has replaced Rauma with Halmstad in its weekly European rotation.
• New Intra‑Regional Links: CMA CGM launched the Palmyra Shuttle in the East Mediterranean, providing weekly direct connectivity between Egypt, Lebanon and Syria. Meanwhile, the GTL service in the Eastern Mediterranean was expanded with an additional call at Iskenderun.
• Caribbean Enhancements: The carrier introduced the Motagua Express, linking Kingston with Central America and the French Caribbean, and added an Intra‑Caribbean Guyanas service to deepen connectivity between the Eastern Caribbean and the Guyanas region.
These combined service adjustments reflect CMA CGM’s efforts to better align its vessel deployments and port coverage with evolving trade flows and customer demand, while optimizing schedule reliability and network efficiency.
Shippers and stakeholders are advised to consult their local CMA CGM contacts for detailed schedule information and operational implications of the updated services.
