Delhivery Limited, one of India’s largest integrated logistics and supply chain services providers, today announced the launch of an autonomous Transport Management System (TMS) powered by AI Agents, marking a significant step forward in logistics automation and digital transformation.

The new solution, branded under TransportOne by Delhivery, is designed to automate core logistics functions — including freight procurement, shipment planning, execution monitoring, and invoice reconciliation — using a suite of specialized artificial intelligence agents that act within the system with minimal human intervention.

Unlike traditional TMS platforms that require constant manual input and oversight, the autonomous TMS aims to shift logistics teams from operational execution to exception-based supervision. AI Agents embedded within the platform can negotiate freight rates, plan optimal routes, monitor shipments in real time, and validate invoices by comparing contracts, GPS data, and proof of delivery.

According to Uday Anand, Vice President of Product at TransportOne, the autonomous system lets users interact through everyday tools such as Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp, issuing natural language commands and receiving recommendations without navigating complex dashboards.

    The platform’s multi-agent design includes:

    • Procurement Agents that manage spot auctions and carrier selection

    • Execution Agents that oversee shipments and resolve delays dynamically

    • Invoice Agents that reconcile billing and reduce revenue leakage caused by rate deviations or invoice errors

Industry observers say this launch underscores a broader shift in logistics technology toward agentic AI systems that not only analyze data but also autonomously take actions within defined operational policies — a trend gaining traction as shippers and carriers seek greater agility and efficiency.

Delhivery’s autonomous TMS is expected to help enterprise shippers reduce manual workload, improve operational accuracy, and enhance compliance across supply chain workflows, further positioning the company as a technology-driven leader in logistics services.
