The integration of global logistics firms DSV and DB Schenker is progressing smoothly, with the combined entity focusing on expanding its global reach, strengthening supply chain resilience, and enhancing digital capabilities amid evolving trade dynamics.

Naz Yusoff, Regional Lead for Fairs & Events (APAC) at DSV, said the acquisition has created a significantly larger logistics platform operating in more than 90 countries with a workforce exceeding 150,000 employees.

Yusoff said the immediate priorities following the merger are ensuring operational continuity for customers, aligning processes across the organisation, and capturing synergies while maintaining service reliability. He noted that the integration has been well received by customers, particularly in the fairs and events segment, where both companies had established relationships with exhibition organisers and venues.

The merged entity is also focusing on strengthening its digital capabilities and building a unified global operating model. Alongside operational efficiency, talent retention and employee engagement remain key priorities, with the company emphasising transparency and communication during the transition process.

According to Yusoff, the larger scale of the combined business enables DSV to offer more comprehensive end-to-end supply chain solutions, backed by deeper expertise across multiple industry verticals.

India has emerged as a strategic growth market for the company, supported by strong manufacturing expansion, infrastructure development, and improving supply chain capabilities. Yusoff said the integration has enhanced DSV’s regional presence across Asia-Pacific, creating new opportunities to support both multinational corporations and Indian businesses.

Addressing ongoing geopolitical uncertainties and shifting trade patterns, Yusoff said the enlarged network provides greater flexibility, visibility, and cost efficiency, enabling customers to navigate disruptions and build more resilient supply chains.

In the fairs, events, and exhibition logistics sector, the company expects its expanded global footprint to improve service delivery by providing alternative routing options during disruptions and leveraging local expertise to facilitate customs clearance and time-sensitive shipments.

Looking ahead, DSV sees Asia as a major growth engine for global trade, with intra-Asia trade corridors becoming increasingly important. The company believes its expanded regional network positions it well to capitalise on growing trade flows across the region despite ongoing geopolitical challenges.
