    The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to deepen cooperation and strengthen engagement between Indian businesses and the State Government, marking a significant step towards enhancing Maharashtra’s investment ecosystem.

    The MoU was signed by Dr. P. Anbalagan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, and Dr. Rajeev Singh, Director General, ICC.

    The signing ceremony was attended by several distinguished business leaders, including Mr. Pratik Dalmia, Executive Director, Dalmia Polypro and Co-Chair, ICC Western Region Committee; Mr. Viraj Kulkarni, CEO & Founder, Pivot Management Consulting Pvt. Ltd. and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Cyprus in Mumbai; Mr. Shashibhushan Upadhyay, Chief Business Officer, Jindal Stainless Limited; Mr. Rajan Raje, CEO, Nichem Solutions; and Mr. Adesh Kumar, Business Director, Keya Foods International Private Ltd and Chair, ICC Agro and Food Processing Committee, Western Region.

    The MoU aims to facilitate structured investor interactions, enable effective policy feedback mechanisms, and promote sustained dialogue between industry and the government. Through this collaboration, ICC and the Government of Maharashtra will work together to position the state as a preferred destination for domestic and international investment.

    The partnership is expected to support ease of doing business initiatives, encourage sector-specific engagements, and contribute to Maharashtra’s long-term economic growth and industrial development.
