Ocean Network Express (ONE) has enhanced its Singapore–Yangon shuttle service with the addition of a call at Thilawa Terminal, reinforcing connectivity to Myanmar’s primary industrial and logistics hub.
The revised service is expected to improve cargo access to the Thilawa Special Economic Zone, a key driver of the country’s manufacturing and export activity. By incorporating the terminal call, ONE aims to offer more direct routing options and reduce inland transportation requirements for shippers.
The Singapore–Yangon shuttle plays a vital role in facilitating intra-Asia trade, linking Myanmar with major transshipment hubs. The addition of Thilawa is set to enhance schedule reliability and streamline cargo flows, particularly for industrial goods and containerized exports.
ONE said the service upgrade aligns with its broader strategy to strengthen regional coverage and support emerging markets in Southeast Asia. The move also reflects growing demand for efficient logistics solutions connecting Myanmar to global supply chains.
With improved port access and optimized service rotation, the enhanced shuttle is expected to provide greater flexibility and efficiency for customers operating in the region.
