Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced the launch of its first dedicated Southeast Asia–Indian Subcontinent Service (SIS), strengthening direct maritime connectivity between key regional markets.
The new service is scheduled to commence on April 24, 2026, and will offer a streamlined and reliable link between Southeast Asia and the west coast of India and Pakistan.
The SIS will call at major ports with the following rotation: Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Klang, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Karachi, before returning via Port Klang and Singapore to Laem Chabang.
According to OOCL, the service is designed to enhance regional connectivity and provide more efficient and dependable transport solutions for customers engaged in trade between Southeast Asia, India, and Pakistan.
