WiseTech Global has rolled out its new CargoWise Value Packs, a major overhaul of its commercial and product structure aimed at simplifying billing, reducing overheads and expanding functionality for logistics service providers across forwarding, customs, warehousing and land transport. The company notified more than 95% of its customers on 31 October and made the new model effective from 1 December 2025.

For India’s rapidly digitising logistics sector, the shift introduces a more transparent and predictable cost framework for users of the CargoWise platform.

The Value Packs replace the seat- and transaction-based licence system that has been in place since 2014. Under the new framework, there are no standard hosting costs or seat fees for CargoWise Cloud; instead, charges are tied directly to the logistics transaction carried out by a service provider on behalf of an importer or exporter. WiseTech noted that providers may pass on these charges to customers as a disbursement, consistent with industry norms.

Each pack is tailored to a segment—forwarding, customs, warehousing or land transport—and offers a single all-inclusive fee for each logistics job, such as a shipment, a customs declaration, a warehouse order line or a transport movement. WiseTech said further capabilities will be integrated over time as part of its ongoing investment in automation and global supply chain execution.

The packs include access to more than 216 high-value modules and functions for logistics companies, including 198 capabilities rolled out under the Early Access Agreement in the past year. Importers, exporters and traders using CargoWise-enabled service providers will gain over 116 new capabilities, including an enhanced version of CargoWise Neo and several supply chain management tools from the e2open suite. These additions aim to boost automation, improve planning and execution and strengthen end-to-end visibility.

A key highlight of the launch is full access to WiseTech’s AI Automation suite, including the AI workflow engine, AI management engine, AI Classification Assistant, ComplianceWise and the AI CargoWise Expert chatbot. These features are designed to reduce manual workloads, lower compliance risks and enhance productivity for operational teams. All Value Pack customers will also receive free training and certification through the WiseTech Academy, which offers industry-recognised online courses across logistics, business and operations.

Richard White, Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, said the simplified commercial model and expanded AI capabilities mark a “major enhancement” for customers. He added that WiseTech plans to incentivise customer staff to upskill through the Academy.

Chief Executive Officer Zubin Appoo said the launch demonstrates progress on WiseTech’s strategic roadmap. The new billing structure, he said, removes obstacles to adopting advanced modules and will help accelerate digitalisation across the logistics industry. Appoo highlighted ongoing innovation in areas such as AI workflow automation and Container Transport Optimisation, as well as deeper integration of the e2open product stack.

WiseTech reiterated its commitment to transforming logistics and global trade through innovation, aiming to deliver sustainable value for customers, partners and stakeholders.
