CMA CGM has announced new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates for dry cargo shipments from the Indian Subcontinent (ISC), Middle East Gulf and Red Sea to destinations in North Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa.

The revised rates will come into effect from 1 February 2026 and will remain valid until further notice, with applicability based on either the gate-in date or sailing date at origin, depending on the region.

From North West India, the carrier has set FAK rates at US$2,200 per TEU to North Europe, US$2,100 per TEU to the Mediterranean and US$3,100 per TEU to North Africa.

For cargo originating from South East India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and the Middle East Gulf, rates stand at US$2,300 per TEU to North Europe, US$2,200 per TEU to the Mediterranean and US$3,200 per TEU to North Africa.

Shipments from the Red Sea will be subject to lower FAK levels, with rates of US$1,300 per TEU to North Europe, US$1,200 per TEU to the Mediterranean and US$2,200 per TEU to North Africa.

CMA CGM said the new FAK rates apply exclusively to dry cargo and reflect current market conditions across these major trade lanes.
