Greek bulker owner Diana Shipping has locked in two of its vessels on fresh time charter contracts, extending its coverage into 2027.

The New York-listed owner said it has secured a direct continuation for the 2007-built capesize Semirio with Solebay Shipping. The new deal will run from March 2026 at a daily rate of $21,650, compared with the current rate of $16,650. The period covers a window between January and April 2027.

In a separate deal, Diana fixed the 2013-built panamax Maera to Singapore-based CRC Shipping. The new charter, set to begin in November 2025, is for a minimum of 13 months at $11,750 per day, up from its current $8,400 rate with China Resource Chartering.

Combined, the two contracts are expected to generate around $10.9m in gross revenue over their minimum terms.

Diana Shipping’s fleet stands at 36 vessels, including eight capesizes and five panamaxes. The company also recently secured a strong fixture with SwissMarine for one of its capes, securing a daily rate well above its previous employment.
