    Pacific International Lines expands Intra-Asia network with new Korea China Indonesia (KCI) service

    Pacific International Lines (PIL) is pleased to announce the launch of its new Korea China Indonesia (KCI) Service, further strengthening its footprint in East Asia and Indonesia. This weekly service will offer direct connections from Korea and Central China to Indonesia, supporting the growing intra-Asia trade flows.

    The KCI Service will commence from Busan on 13 October 2025, providing comprehensive coverage across Korea, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam. This follows the recent introduction of the North China Indonesia (NCI) Service, underscoring PIL’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and service reliability in the region.

    Speaking on the launch, Ms. Rita Wong, General Manager, Intra-Asia Services, PIL, said: “Asia will continue to play a pivotal role in international trade. The new KCI Service is strategically designed to support our customers in meeting growing demand in Asia for all cargoes. By improving transit times and increasing our competitive solutions within Southeast Asia as well as to the rest of our global network, we are committed to strengthening our connections with Asia’s numerous ports, delivering enhanced services and value to our customers.”

    With rising intra-Asia trade volumes and evolving customer requirements, PIL’s expanded service network is a timely move to support sustainable growth across one of the world’s most dynamic trade corridors.
