PSA Vietnam and LHF have partnered to develop a new container terminal at Lach Huyen Port, marking a significant investment in Vietnam’s maritime infrastructure and reinforcing the country’s position as a key logistics and manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia. The project is expected to enhance port capacity and support the continued growth of international trade.

The new terminal will be designed to handle increasing container volumes while accommodating larger vessels calling at Lach Huyen Port. Equipped with modern cargo handling facilities and advanced operational technologies, the terminal aims to improve efficiency, optimise vessel turnaround times, and strengthen supply chain connectivity.

The collaboration aligns with Vietnam’s long-term strategy to expand its port infrastructure and meet rising demand from export-oriented industries. By increasing terminal capacity and improving operational performance, the project is expected to facilitate smoother cargo movements and enhance the competitiveness of the country’s logistics sector.

For PSA Vietnam and LHF, the partnership represents a strategic commitment to developing world-class port infrastructure that supports sustainable economic growth. Once completed, the container terminal is expected to strengthen regional maritime connectivity, attract additional shipping services, and contribute to Vietnam’s emergence as a leading gateway for global trade.
