SolitAir, the UAE-based cargo airline, has signed an agreement with World Star Aviation (WSA) for two Boeing 737-800 freighter aircraft, strengthening its global operations. The first aircraft joined the fleet earlier this month, while the second will be delivered in October, boosting the carrier’s capacity and reach across key trade routes.

Hamdi Osman, Founder and CEO of SolitAir, said the deal marks an important milestone in the airline’s growth journey. He noted that the aircraft will enhance operational capacity and allow the carrier to expand services across critical routes, while continuing to focus on fast and reliable cargo solutions tailored to the Global South and beyond.

Yoram Allalouf, Partner at World Star Aviation, said the agreement reflects confidence in SolitAir’s vision and growth strategy.

By October, SolitAir will operate seven Boeing 737-800 BCF freighters from its 220,000-square-foot logistics facility at Dubai World Central (DWC). The airline has set a target of reaching a 20-aircraft fleet by 2027 to connect more than 50 cities within a six-hour flight radius from Dubai.

SolitAir’s fleet is designed for efficiency and reliability, handling a wide range of cargo including temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, ecommerce shipments and hazardous materials.
