ADNOC is strengthening its maritime operations with the acquisition of 11 vessels, accelerating the expansion of its shipping fleet and supporting the company’s growing energy logistics requirements.
The fleet additions will enhance ADNOC’s ability to transport crude oil, petroleum products and other energy-related cargoes across international markets. Expanding vessel ownership also provides greater control over transportation capacity and helps the company respond more flexibly to changing global trade flows.
The acquisition forms part of ADNOC’s broader strategy to expand its maritime and logistics capabilities as the UAE energy group increases its presence across international markets. A larger fleet is expected to improve operational flexibility while supporting the movement of energy products across key global shipping routes.
The move comes as energy companies continue to strengthen their shipping capabilities amid evolving trade patterns, geopolitical risks and changing demand for tanker and specialised maritime capacity.
By adding 11 vessels, ADNOC is positioning its maritime business for further growth while strengthening the logistics infrastructure supporting its expanding energy portfolio.
